The nine siddhas (to whom mother ayur devi gave kara peetam, i.e., a seat on her hands) are:
- Mother's top right hand gayaasura maharishi
- Mother's second right hand aani maandavya maharishi
- Mother's third right hand atri maharishi
- Mother's fourth right hand kundalini maharishi
- Mother's top left hand ahir puthnya maharishi
- Mother's second left hand saaramaa munivar
- Mother's third left hand astheeka siddha of the agasthiar divine teacher lineage
- Mother's fourth left hand gaargini devi and samvartha maharishi in a consecrated amrutham pot
- Mother's ninth hand held in the fear not (abhaya hastham) posture, the mother looks after all beings with this protective gesture.The fragrant dhoopam smoke emanating from the dhoopika bimba chakram in the palm of the mother's hand determines the destiny of every being in the universe.
The other deities and siddhas are:
- suvaarosisha maharishi as the swan vehicle (anna vaahanam)
- manu prajapatis as the lion peetam.
- The trimoorthi trinity looking on in awe:
- taitriya prajapati rudra,
- rudra pralaya vishnu and
- rudra priya brahma.
- Paalinan chitragupta (dutifully cataloging the karma of all beings)
- sudharmana yama dharmaraja and his consort sudharmini,
- both accompanied by tapasvi suvaalinan in the form of a buffalo.
- Seated thus, the great mother presides over the universe as "adi arunachaleswari akhilandeswari ayur devi".
